Pre-COP29 National Youth Forum

The Pre-COP29 National Youth Forum, happening on November 1, 2024, at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam was organized by TYOCCC in collaboration with key partners, including YSO Tanzania. This forum was a gathering of young climate leaders who wanted to shape Tanzania’s voice ahead of COP29.

From engaging in panel discussions with UN representatives and ambassadors to exploring innovative solutions in breakout sessions, this event was designed to empower youth and amplify children and youth ideas on clean energy, blue economy, and climate resilience. The day closed with a Movie Night at Africraft, giving you the chance to learn through animations and documentaries and also a perfect opportunity to network with like-minded individuals and share experiences.
